Greenery Will Bloom Again

In the snow-covered trenches of northern Italy, the silence and peaceful scene on the front-line in the Italian Alps during the First World War is deceptive. For the moment a ceasefire prevails as the soldiers dig out the supply trenches. Their sympathetic major (Claudio Santamaria) receives an order from the headquarters which mean certain death since snipers are targeting anyone going beyond the trenches.
